Its still really weird to think of Microsoft as this big multinational company that gives things away for free. They've really changed their image in the last year.
To show this, Microsoft Open Technologies, the independent subsidiary of Microsoft is to rejoin with its parent company to help future open source technology at the company.
Hopefully they will have some say in Project Spartan and we won't just have a reskinned Internet Explorer.
