One of the hardest parts of learning to code is the faff of setting up a development environment, especially on Windows. Once that's done, its pretty easy sailing learning to code from tutorials.
The problem is that some people hit that brick wall and never find a way around it (or through it). NodeTogether has been set up to help people learn how to setup node and how to continue coding it.
Either join up as a student and you'll be assigned a mentor or if you already got the skill, you can go on and help someone new gain some experience.
We have learned from countless stories of students and mentors that our tech community loses many beginners to difficulties in the initial setup. NodeTogether seeks to make that experience better by pairing students with mentors who are expert open source contributors and to mitigate the frustration of going through the initial process alone.
